We are hiring Customer Service Representative for Export Shipments under our Seafreight Department.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor vessel advisory and departure of vessels
- Update the shipment monitoring sheet
- Request billing from shipping lines and consolidators
- Prepare a request for payment
- Send vessel updates to clients
- Generate a draft Bill of Ladings
- Submit FSI to Carrier
- Forward required documents to Brokerage Department
- Submit Trucking Forecast Report
- Consolidate official receipts from carriers
- BASIC RELATIONSHIP
- Reports to the Seafreight Supervisor
- QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years experience in the same position from a Freight Forwarding Industry or its equivalent
- 4-year college course
- Knowledge in computer operations
- With good moral character
- TRAINING / SKILLS NEEDED
- Basic Cargo Course
- Advance Cargo Course
- Dangerous Goods Cargo Course
